Get Involved

It’s simple. Missouri’s food banks cannot feed hungry Missourians without your help. There are four key ways you can get involved:
  1. Give Time
  2. Give Food
  3. Give Money
  4. Educate

Give Time

Without the help of volunteers, food banks cannot package and deliver food to over 1,500 pantries, shelters, and kitchens we serve.  It’s easy!  If you can give some time, please click on the food bank in your area.  Better yet – organize a group of friends, family, or co-workers to volunteer at your local food bank.

Give Food

Missouri’s food banks distributed over 84 million pounds of food last year.  Much of that food is given by caring people like you.  If you have food to donate, or would like to organize a food drive, please click on the food bank in your area.

Give Money

Obviously it takes a significant amount of resources to collect, store, and transport over 84 million pounds of food that are distributed throughout the state to nearly 1 million people.  Missouri’s food banks rely heavily upon private support from individuals like you.  Just $1 can acquire up to 20 lbs of food!  Please give today by clicking on the food bank in your area:

Educate

Part of MFBA’s mission is to educate people on the issue of hunger in Missouri.  It’s up to each of us to help our neighbors, community leaders, and lawmakers understand the prevalence of hunger in our state and how it impacts our state’s economy, productivity, and health.
